Treble Clef Wall Clock

TheWoodGrainGallery created this breathtaking unique wall clock specifically for the music lover! Over the years, we have been blessed to have come in contact with some very special people. This wood carved unique wall clock designed for the music lover is the latest in a long custom request list of wood carvings we have done for this amazing woman and her husband!

In fact, this is our 23rd custom wood carving for this couple! Their passion is custom, one-of-a-kind pieces that are created from things that are very special in their lives or have special meaning to the people who receive these carvings as gifts! It is such a pleasure to work with them and they have given new meaning to “custom wood services” that we provide to all of our customers! These customers have turned into VERY special friends to both my husband and myself who were brought together by our on-line business! Together, we worked closely with our customers on their design. Once we get an approved design, I start mocking it up in our software program. During this next phase, we work together on the CAD rendering images. The customer’s responsibility is to tell me what she likes and more importantly what she wants tweaked or removed. Our policy is to let our customers know that “we work for them.” We will work together on the design until they are 100% confident that the final design meets their needs! Our shop policy and goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction from the first contact to our shop, through the entire purchasing process and finally to the end product sale. We will take the time to work with you to make you comfortable designing and buying a product unseen!

The next step in this process is picking the wood species, stain preference and finishing style. Sometimes, this can be the most difficult part of the process! We have a chart with the listings of the common woods and stains we work with so that you can get an idea of what your end wood carving may look like. NO two pieces will ever be the same even if you use the same wood species, same stain and finish. Each piece of wood has it’s own character and will absorb the stain differently. After the wood carving process, the exposed wood to be stained is end-grain and depending on the wood will take the stain in various depths. In our shop, we have over 450 listings and we try to cut pieces out of as many different woods we have, stain them in different ways and show unfinished raw wood, satin, semi-gloss and gloss polyurethane pieces so that you can get some idea of the finished look. All of our wood carving are carved from SOLID wood…PERIOD!

The final step is to package your wood carving in such a manner that it will arrive safely and in ONE piece! We take this part of the process very seriously as shipping of fine art can be a challenge! We pride ourselves on shipping out on the promised date or SOONER, if possible.
Finally, we want you as a repeat customer. After your first sale, you will get a thank you card with your personal shop coupon for a life-time 10% discount on single orders. It’s our way of thanking you for your business. In addition, we have developed what we call BUNDLE YOUR PURCHASES AND SAVE SHOP COUPONS; we offer 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% discount codes. You can find then in TheWoodGrainGallery Etsy Shop Announcement.

Wood Carved Cabinet Doors

This solid oak Deer Camp Kitchen Cabinet was delivered to our shop. We worked closely with the owner to pick the perfect relief carvings that represent the deer cabin, the scenery and method of hunting. We were commissioned to carve 4 cabinet door panels and one cabinet drawer. Our customer wanted a different scene for each section.

The left upper panel is a deer scene with cabin and woods in the background. This particular carving was a dish (sunken) design in an oval shape centered in the cabinet door. The upper right upper panel is a buck standing in front of a waterfall in the woods.

The drawer features several stunning deer in the wood scene that expands the entire length of the 2 drawers.  It’s a continuous scene that is split between the 2 drawers in the kitchen cabinet. The deer antler handles gave the finishing touch to this part of the cabinet! The lower left cabinet door reveals a round dished relief carving of a bow hunter! It faces the bear head carved into the right lower cabinet door. The cabinet was stained with Early American stain and sealed with a semi-gloss polyurethane finish. The owner purchased custom ordered door knobs to fit the theme. This was such an exciting piece to work on.

Delhi Charter Township Dedication Plaque

I’ve lived in Holt for over 5 decades. I hear, almost on a daily basis, the sirens of the brave men and women of the Delhi Township Fire Department, EMT Team and Police Department responding to the vast needs of our community. You put your lives on the line for us EVERY DAY! I wanted to give a gift of appreciation for all of the hard work you do to keep us save and come to our hour of need albeit a fire, car accident or someone in need of medical attention in our community. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! We appreciate you!

My dad approached me several months ago wanting to create an one-of-a-kind appreciation gift for the Delhi Charter Township firefighters, EMT’s and Police that serve his community. Together, we created a functional wall clock that on a daily basis would remind them how much we appreciate their service!

Will you JOIN Joe and his family’s challenge of taking just a few minutes of your time today and leave a comment thanking the fine men and women who serve our community? It WILL mean so much to these community servants and their families to hear from you! Post, comment and share! Thank you!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
